2013 CPC Presbytery and Family Camp
Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:30 AM - Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 7:30 AM (CDT)
You are invited to come to the
2013 General Assembly and Family Camp
of the Covenant Presbyterian Church!
This is a very family-friendly event, with food, fun, and fellowship for all ages. While there will be time for the elders of our denomination to meet, there will also be time for families to interact and get to know one another.
We are building the schedule to maximize fellowship. There will be times for singing and learning as well, but these will built around interactive panel discussions covering topics relevant to the Christian family and community. Bring your questions - let's learn together!
You don't have to be part of our denomination to attend. You don't even have to be Presbyterian! If you are interested in starting a new church in your area, you will leave better prepared for the challenge. If you live in a community where you feel isolated because of your desire to raise your children in an atmosphere saturated by God's covenant love, come and meet folks who have walked similar paths.
Also, this event is very affordable! The cost for your family includes your room, your meals, and all activities, outside the high ropes course (4 nights, 12 scrumptious meals!) You will not only find time to grow together as a family, you will meet new friends from around the nation. Your first meal is lunch Wednesday, May 23. The final meal is breakfast on Sunday, May 26.
For those who need it, we have set up an installment program to let you take care of the cost of this event over time. Simply register using the "invioce" payment method and we will get with you to set everything up.
Everyone is also welcome to come up to our host church, Providence Church, for worship on Sunday, May 26th. Providence is a generationally inclusive church seeking to honor the Lord through our worship, fellowship, and daily lives. We hope you can join us!
